Bin Collections

Food waste is collected weekly on Tuesdays with the other bins.  Those should be collected on the following dates. Check for exceptions following Bank Holidays. Most commonly, it is just one day later than normal. The correct dates for these are written in bold type (and these dates apply for food waste, too).

Garden waste collections will pause from Thursday, 25th December, to Friday, 9th January, so our next one is 22nd January.

Roadworks

A414 eastbound near Briggens: 24th Nov – 5th Dec 9:30am – 3:30pm

Hunsdon: High Street, Acorn Street, Drury Lane (all near centre of village, only one road closed at a time): 8th Dec – 19th Dec, 9:30am – 4pm.  Drainage / flood prevention works.

Buses

The #35 bus travels through the village connecting Bishop’s Stortford and Hertford. The timetable can be found on the Intalink website here: Routes, timetables & maps – Intalink. (Just put 35 in the selector to reveal the timetable.)
